The FAQ

Do you Travel?

YES! I certainly do! I would LOVE to travel to you to capture your story! I am based in Toowoomba region & do not charge travel fees for sessions within the region. However, for sessions beyond Toowoomba region, a travel fee will incur to cover fuel (or flight?!) costs :)

How long have you been doing this?

My passion for photography first started when I was in Year seven (2015), where I had a little Canon IXUS 132 camera and would love taking it around my parents backyard taking photos of nature or our pets. Fast forward to Year ten (2018), I purchased my first DSLR camera (Canon EOS 1300D), from then I started taking self-portraits which then branched into taking other peoples portraits! Eventually people started booking me in for formals, engagements & family sessions :) And now, I am currently using my beloved Canon EOS 5D MK IV, my 35mm film camera and Super 8mm camera to capture all the different chapters of life!

How many photos do we get?

Depends on the session type you have booked! On my 'Investment' page I include how many digital photos are included in the session/package. If you would like to receive more photos than stated in your package, you can let me know when completing the booking form & I can adjust the pricing to what you want included!

What should we wear?

Neutrals or earthy toned coloured clothing always turns out beautiful and aesthetic in photos! It is best to avoid any colours that clash together and try to avoid vibrant colours for a family/couples shoot.

Also consider bringing a spare outfit to change into mid photoshoot or layering your fit if you are wanting to change the photos up a bit (or either you can't decide between two outfits ;)) !

How do we get our photos?

I will email you an access link to your digital gallery, with a download pin attached to the bottom of the email. From there you can view your gallery and download them using the 4-digit pin :)

For Super 8mm film, you can access your timeless video via my gallery delivery platform and can also receive your video on a keepsake maple wood USB which is an additional $65 :)

What's your turn around time?

1. For digital galleries, it takes between 1-2 weeks post session for gallery arrival

2. For 35mm film galleries, it can take between 2-4 weeks for gallery arrival. One roll of 35mm film has 36 exposures (photos), so often I won't use a whole roll of film for your session (unless requested) and will continue to use that same roll for other booked sessions. So it can range between 1-2 weeks before the whole roll of film is exposed/finished. Additionally, development of film takes a further approx 2 weeks to arrive in my emails.

3. For Super 8mm, it can take between 3-4 weeks for delivery. One roll of 8mm film has 3 minutes worth of footage available. Depending on your session/package, the same roll may be used for another booked session. So it can take an additional week for the whole roll to be exposed/finished. Additionally, postage + development takes a further 2 weeks to arrive in my emails. Furthermore, editing of your unique, timeless video can take 1-2 weeks before delivery, depending on the length of footage taken!

* All of these turn around timelines can be subject to change during busy seasons or reasons that are out of my control <3

How do we book you?

Go to my 'Contact' page & Enter (in the booking form) your:
1. Name
2. Email address
3. Session type/package you are after
4. Date/s that suits you!

From there, I'll send an email response and organise a time that suits the both of us!

What is a personalised Questionnaire?

Once you've booked and your session has been confirmed, I'll send a personalised questionnaire your way for you to complete. The questions will be targeted towards the type of session you have booked. The answers will then help guide me in how I will run and photograph the session that's authentic to you and so I don't miss any special moments you would love to have photographed :)

What is Super 8mm?

A dreamy, timeless, filmy video! Super 8mm is captured on a special camera (that kinda looks like a speed-gun lol) that is taking 18 frames per second which turns out as a beautiful film video! It's slowly coming back in but currently there is limited labs in Australia that develop and digitalise Super 8mm! A lot of you have probably seen Instagram filters that mimic the super 8mm film look, but none of them look as good as the real deal ;)

You can find some of my super 8mm work on my portfolio page or on my Youtube channel :)
